Starting out as a hand-made effects pedal manufacturer in 2004 under the name “Indy Guitarist,” Brian Wampler’s switch to the eponymous “Wampler” brand marked the end of an internship of sorts as he unleashed his full creative might onto the boutique guitar effects pedal market. Wampler stompboxes have since captured the ears of such seminal musicians as Brad Paisley and Keith Urban, while versatile and powerful pedals such as the Paisley Drive and the Triple Wreck Distortion have become modern classics.
