Big Joe Williams, the 9-string Delta blues musician after whom Pocket Rockit headphone amp designers David and Paul Christian named their stompbox line, probably would’ve loved stepping on one of these bad boys right before going off on some Delta boogie blues. It might not be a mission from God, but the Christians’ vision of capturing the tonal history of blues and rock guitar has made for some inexpensive essentials that would fit right at home on any rocker’s pedal chain.
