Founded in 2015 as Nine Volt Pedals, Animal Pedals is a boutique guitar effects pedal manufacturer based in Japan known for its accessible, uniquely artful, and relatively inexpensive pedal designs. They’re pretty new to the US market, only debuting in 2018 after gaining recognition among guitarists in Japan. The Animals Pedal 1927 Home Run King Compressor delivers studio-quality compression within a pedalboard and pocket-friendly unit. It boasts an uncomplicated control system for leveling low and high frequencies while controlling the tonal density and sustain. The EQ knob controls the frequency range, VOL sets the pedal’s overall output level, and COMP selects how little or how much compression you want running on your signal path. It also features two LED lights—one indicates when the compression is working hard, and another shows if the pedal is bypassed or active.

Animals Pedal Bath Time Reverb
The Animals Pedal Bath Time Reverb is a regular reverb effect pedal that adds depth and color to your guitar’s tone. You may choose three kinds of reverb sounds and set them based on your songs and preferences. The MIX knob allows you to adjust the balance between wet and dry sounds, while the TIME control lets you select the reverb reverberation extension time. You can also use the central toggle switch to change the reverb’s tone.

The Animals Pedal Fishing Is As Fun As Fuzz draws inspiration from the legendary Big Muffs. Thanks to its enhanced tone sculpting abilities, this fuzz has a more extensive range compared to the muffs of old and allows you to adjust the tone and tightness of the effect. The DRIVE control enables the illumination and manipulation of the distortion level in the effect. As with other Animals pedals, the Fishing Is As Fun As Fuzz pedal features true-bypass switching and runs on 9V power.
