Morley has expanded its broad arsenal of signal switchers with the all-new Gold Series range.
Coming in the form of ABC-G, ABY-G, and ABY-MIX-G variations, the trio of revamped offerings is the “next evolution” of Morley switching stompboxes, looking to deliver an array of versatile switching functionalities.
Featuring a layout identical to its predecessor, each pedalboard-optimized unit comes with quieter circuitry, improved operation, and a sleek aesthetic design.
Standard signal switchers ABC-G and ABY-G feature true bypass, handy LED indicators, and flexible routing. Meanwhile, Morley describes the larger ABY-MIX as a “two-channel mixer in a robust pedal enclosure” that lets you route two inputs to two outputs. It also comes with a Level knob for every input enabling specific signal control. That makes it perfect for routing two electric guitars to a single guitar amp.
Ultimately, the ABY-MIX-G boasts Morley’s premium buffer circuit, preventing any unwanted signal-chain interference to your tone. Per Morley’s Bill Wenzloff, “The Morley ABY Switcher remains one of our best-selling products since it was introduced in 1992. It has become the industry standard in switching.
“The Morley ABC and ABY-MIX devices have also gained much popularity since their introduction in the late ‘90s, and these new Gold Series Switchers continue their legacy.”
You can now purchase the Gold Series ABY-G, ABC-G, and ABY-MIX-G for $99, $129, and $119, respectively.
