From being a self-proclaimed “kitchen-table startup,” Behringer has emerged as one of the world’s most significant and lucrative pro-audio manufacturers. Its Swiss founder Uli Behringer was a music and technology aficionado from a very young age and had built a synthesizer at the age of 16. The company’s philosophy is to offer a myriad of budget-friendly options for every kind of musician. That started the Behringer mantra “Double the Features at Half the Price,” which introduced a “Prosumer” or home-recording market.
