You can plug two instruments into Input 1 and Input 2, connect the Output either directly into your amplifier or pedalboard, and adjust the Gain controls on the Match Box so both instruments deliver a similar Output Gain to the pedalboard or amp. That eradicates the need to reset Gain levels on the amp when changing guitars and lets you switch instruments conveniently and quickly during your performance.
