The Barber Electronics Gain Changer Silver Sparkle is a compact yet highly versatile drive pedal that gives you warm low-gain overdriven tones, harmonic medium-level distortion, and everything else in between via a single toggle switch. Another toggle lets you cycle through three additional modes, two of which stay true to your guitar and amp’s tonal quality: the LTD SR’s flat EQ, the LTD v2’s fat EQ, and a new setting that adds a little extra fatness to the former.

The TightDrive Pro is the two-button variant of Amptweaker’s famous TightDrive pedal. Featuring Smooth and Fat switches, the TightDrive Pro can bring all the TightDrive pedal’s familiar tones. Transparent overdrive tones are abundant when the Gain switch is turned off. As requested by customers, the “Boost” Volume control was tweaked to make it easier to balance the volume. The TightDrive Pro also carries two Boost knobs, a Midboost button to help solos cut through the mix, three-band EQ for more tonal variation, and a “cleaner” noise gate.

With a flick of a toggle, you can turn the Barber Gain Changer SR Olive Grey Overdrive from a low-gain overdrive pedal to a screaming harmonic distortion reminiscent of Barber’s unLimiTeD distortion pedal. You can also cycle through three different EQ modes: flat, fat, and a third voicing that fattens up a flat-EQ sound.
