Walrus Audio has launched a significant upgrade over its Julia Analog Chorus/Vibrato pedal, the Julia V2.
The Julia is a pure analog, feature-laden Chorus/Vibrato that packs an incredible array of tonal landscapes worth exploring. “Updated for 2020, Julia now has top mounted jacks, soft switch bypassing and updated art from Adam Forster,” Walrus Audio detailed.
The Julia is capable of dishing out a mild smooth chorus, seasick vibrato, and anything in between. Equipped with controls like Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend, Lag, and selectable analog LFO wave shapes, users can dial in virtually any classic and distinctive Chorus/Vibrato sounds.
The D-C-V Blend control also enables players to mix dry signal into vibrato at maximum and chorus in the middle.
The Julia V2 will preserve all the valuable features of the original model. That includes the Lag knob, which lets users set “the center delay time that the LFO effect modulates from.”
Moreover, it comes in a chassis dressed in a deep lavender paint job and embellished with surf green ink. It will also become one of the first pedals to have the Walrus Audio logo imprinted on its backplate.
The Julia V2 is already available for $199 from Walrus Audio and authorized dealers.
