TWA has slimmed down in size its version of the iconic ‘70s Systech Harmonic Energizer, which costs an arm and a leg, with the Triskelion Mk. III Harmonic Energizer.
Loaded with more sonic versatility, the Triskelion Mk. III Harmonic Energizer features the best aspects of its predecessors, keeping the Mk. II’s improved noise floor and reinstating the original Triskelion’s Variant Mass Boost switch.
With adjustable peaks and ridiculous gain amount, this parametric midrange filter is looking to capture the original Systech’s aggressive sounds with a more extensive high-frequency range and expression command over the filter sweep.
You can dial in gain in two ways: via a top-mounted, on/off mini-switch or an external footswitch connected to its side-mounted mini-phone jack. If you wish to attach an expression stompbox to manage the filter’s frequency sweep, the Triskelion Mk. III Harmonic Energizer also carries another mini-phone jack.
Sporting a Hammond 1590B enclosure, the Triskelion Mk. III Harmonic Energizer is slated for a late July launch and now available to pre-order for $229. Check out the TWA website for more info on the stompbox.
