TheGigRig has unleashed its next-generation flagship series of pedalboard switching systems—the G3 and the G3 Atom. This new lineup of switchers enables extensive control of a whole pedalboard, complete with everything from a programable input buffer to in-depth MIDI support.
The larger G3 centers around a dozen passive true-bypass loops, capable of being paired together for as much as six stereo loops or a mix of stereo and mono. These are controlled by 99 preset banks and a set of sturdy optical footswitches. Each bank has 28 presets, providing comprehensive control over the signal chain.
“A new standard for effects pedal lovers seeking the ultimate control and tonal transparency,” TheGigRig detailed. “G3 marks a new standard in pedalboard effects control. Built on the legacy of our award winning G2, G3 delivers the ultimate in signal path purity with possibilities never before seen in a pedalboard switcher.”
In the wake of more complicated workstation stompboxes, the G3 introduces expanded MIDI support, a high-resolution TFT LCD screen for keeping track of what’s going on, and a whole lot more.
The G3 Atom crams all that features into a more compact enclosure with six programmable true-bypass effects loops that can each be stereo and mono credits to TRS connections.
Both the G3 and G3 Atom are already available for £1,095 and £799, respectively.
