Source Audio Releases the C4 Synth Pedal

The company behind the famed Ventris Dual Reverb and Nemesis Delay, Source Audio, has unveiled its new creation called the C4 Synth – a four-voiced guitar/bass synthesizer pedal.

The C4 Synth crams all the sound creation tools of a classic Eurorack modular synthesizer within a user-friendly, compact effects pedal.

While synth pedals often come with a limited range of sounds, Source Audio President Roger Smith revealed:

“The C4 has over 120 presets today, and we estimate it will grow to 1000 a month from now. Our innovation with this pedal is not just flexible sound creation tools – more importantly, it is the simple means by which any user can browse and play the library of sounds, burn a handful of favorites directly to the pedal, and then bring them to their next gig in a small, simple to use package. No other synth pedal in history offers this.”

The C4 is pre-loaded with six dynamic synth presets ranging from vintage analog to fully modern. Users can also select from a diverse library of presets through the Neuro Mobile App and Neuro Desktop Editor

The C4 carries a four-knob control panel consists of Envelope Sensitivity, Master Output Level, Wet/Dry Mix, Input Level, and two knobs marked as “Control 1” and “Control 2” which adjust various parameters based on the preset.

The C4 Synth is available for $239.
