Red Witch has launched its latest pedal project—Nonpareil, a series of 54 one-of-a-kind overdrive pedals that celebrate the 54 lines of Kubla Khan, a poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
Handcrafted by Red Witch head honcho Ben Fulton, each Nonpareil unit comes with a unique take on a dual germanium/FET circuit for unrivaled drive flexibility.
Per Fulton, the collection aims to let you own an entirely unique pedal; “Something that nobody else has. Something special. Something we can treasure.”
Control-wise, it consists of four dials: two for setting the effect’s master volume and presence, and another two for adjusting input and gain levels of the first and second gain stages, respectively.
Priced at $449 apiece, each Nonpareil pedal corresponds with a line of the poem and sports artwork by New Zealand artist Rachael Gannaway. Check out the video below for more details.
