Mod Electronics Unleashes The Rattler Returns Distortion

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of its Mod kits, Mod Electronics is launching The Rattler Returns, a highly anticipated new-and-improved variant of its fan-favorite Mod pedal, The Rattler.

The long-awaited comeback of The Rattler features the same over-the-top fuzz, along with several new upgrades. The Rattler Returns comes with a revamped circuit that allows for a broader fuzz spectrum, which you can use steadily with any pedals, amps, or pickups.

According to the press release, “The Rattler Returns preserves the diode clipping, a crucial component of the classic raw fuzz/distortion in the original but also features a diode lift switch. With the lift engaged, the pedal can hit volumes that easily drive any tube or pedal with fuzzed out guitar tones.”
