Catalinbread Effects has debuted its Gallery Series, which features custom art editions of Catalinbread pedals, with a limited-edition Naga Viper.
Per Catalinbread Effects, most of the collection will gift a percentage of its profits to a charity selected by the artist. The first entry in the Gallery Series is the custom art Naga Viper treble booster. This Gallery Series pedal sports a custom artwork from artist Colin Shawcross, with 10% of its proceeds going to Shriners Hospitals For Children in Florida, USA.
The Naga Viper is Catalinbread’s take on the iconic Dallas Rangemaster loved by several influential British guitarists, including the likes of Brian May, Tony Iommi, and Marc Bolan. It adds two additional controls—Range and Heat—to the original’s single Boost knob.
“The Range knob is a continuous control and allows you to go from classic treble-boost to a full-range boost and anywhere in-between. The Heat knob gives you control over the gain level, unlike the original which was fixed at maximum gain,” Catalinbread Effects detailed.
The Gallery Series Naga Viper is available in two colorways—neon yellow and black—for $189.99. Every purchase is inclusive of a matching t-shirt, a drawstring bag, and some stickers.
