Nobels doesn’t have as extensive a line as other long-time guitar effects pedal brands—aside from a preamp pedal and an active selector, they only have the ODR-1 overdrive—but what they do have is one of the closest things to a perfect overdrive ever created. The original ODR-1 overdrive first released in 1985 has since become a relatively expensive collectible pedal, but Nobels has released a reasonably-priced reissue that stays very faithful to the original’s sound and tone.
