Orange Amplification has released the FS1 Mini, which makes a perfect accompaniment for the single-button FS1 and dual-button FS2.
At the request Orange users, the unit has been created compact enough to fit in the palm of your hand. That allows for enhanced portability and more pedalboard real estate. The FS1 Mini features a single footswitch, an orange LED indicator, as well as a 1/4” jack for connecting the footswitch to an amp with any cable length.
Per the press release, the FS1 Mini is “perfect for all Orange amplifiers, and its standard latching design and TS (mono) jack connection means it is also suitable for many other types of equipment. At just over 200g and measuring 8.7 x 3 x 3.7cm, the best things really do come in small packages, and as an official Orange accessory, it complements any Orange amp.”
With the FS1 Mini, players can toggle an amp’s functions at the tap of a switch. Users may use it for Reverb (Crush Pro Amps and Rockerverb), for Attenuator (Rockerverb and Dual Dark series), and to switch channels on all Orange twin channel valve amps (Crush Pro, Crush 20, Crush 20RT, and Crush 35). Other uses include Master Volume Lift, EQ Lift, Blend, Compression, and many more.
The FS1 Mini footswitch comes in a durable metal enclosure finished with Orange’s iconic design and style. It also includes a sheet of Orange icon stickers featuring twelve graphics of famous foot-switchable channel options—Gain, Attenuator, Blend, Depth, Speed, Volume, Compression, Clean Channel, Dirty/Fat Channel, Mute, EQ Lift, and Reverb—plus three blank stickers for users to customize.
