In September, Electro-Harmonix made the unexpected move to enter into the market for consumer headphones with its wireless Bluetooth earbuds, the R&B Buds. Now, the effects pedal company has expanded its wireless headphones lineup with the introduction of two new models—the sweat-proof in-ear Sport Buds and the on-ear NYC Cans.
The Sport Buds feature a lightweight design, delivering as much as 12 hours of playing time, music and call control, voice assistant compatibility, and come with a USB cable for charging and three sizes of ear cushion.
The NYC Cans are foldable, lightweight, and include an optional 1/8-inch headphone cable for individuals who want a wired connection. They will also facilitate the user’s one-to-ones with Siri, allow them to take calls and control music, and are charged through a USB cable, providing five hours of playing time. The NYC Cans incorporate a microSD card slot so users can play MP3 files.
Electro-Harmonix is synonymous with exceptional sound and affordable price tags, and that is what its new Bluetooth earbuds and headphones provide. Both the Sport Buds and NYC Cans share the R&B buds’ Bluetooth V5.0 connectivity.
The Sport Buds and NYC Cans are already available for $35.95 and $25.95, respectively. Check EHX for further details.
