Emma Electronic is a prominent Danish guitar pedal company known for its fantastic overdrive units. It has been producing some of the most awesome-sounding and fun pedals since 2000. While most pedal makers have started by creating their take on the holy grail of distortion, Emma Electronic founder Jan Behncke succeeded in building the world’s best envelope filter. The DiscumBOBulator remains a true landmark within the auto-wah world, but Jan has also introduced several ambitious amp-like drive pedals.
