Reissues, slightly-modified clones, and direct circuit copies of classic and popular guitar effects pedals are making big bucks in today’s stompbox market. The folks over at Diamond Pedals aren’t the least bit interested in that kind of thing, though. This Canadian company is in the business of innovation. Diamond combines top-quality components, unique circuit designs, and familiar controls into a line of excellent and customizable overdrives, modulators, delays, and other tone-shaping pedals that are almost impossible to make sound bad.

Diamond J-Drive
The J-Drive by Diamond gives you two independently switchable pedals. You can operate both at once for a higher gain tone evocative of the Drive + Lead setting of the stock Diamond Drive. Boasting a discrete JEFT-based clean boost stomp section consists of a Bright switch for a finely-tuned tonal palette, Gain control, and Burr-Brown OP2134 opamp for a very creamy overdrive, the J-Drive represents years of study for one of the most excellent dual pedals in the market. Despite its compact design, J-Drive sports the effect capabilities of a pedal double its size.

Diamond Memory Lane Jr
The Memory Lane Jr is a digital version of Diamond’s original Memory Lane concept. This more compact variant provides double the delay time, adjustable modulation, and tap tempo. Diamond captured the Memory Lane’s ethereal essence in a tinier footprint with standard 9V powering and extended frequency response. The Memory Lane Jr digital sampling engine’s only role is to delay, copy, and reproduce the delay path signal without any mathematical manipulation. Each signal path around the sampling engine is analog and meticulously designed to deliver a distinct sonic signature that is undoubtedly the Memory Lane Jr.
