Boss has released an update to its GT-1000 and GT-1000Core stompboxes, promising expanded speaker IR options and fresh delay algorithms.
Both the full-sized GT-1000 and the more compact GT-1000Core come with version 3.2 firmware update, providing five fresh delay patches and 11 brand-new mastering FX algorithms.
Per the brand, the update helps you sculpt your overall sound for various styles and playing situations, while the new delays recreate DD-20 Analog, DD-20 Standard, SDE-3000, and DD–8’s Warm and Glitch tones.
Further handy upgrades include new microphone types and more extensive inbuilt speaker IR options for recording, with the option to use “Original” speaker types from various amps.

Ultimately, the GT-1000 now features EV-1-WL support, letting you connect Boss’s wireless MIDI expression pedal to the multi-effects unit via Bluetooth.
