Two Notes Audio Engineering has unveiled the 16 Ohm variant of its revered Torpedo Captor X, the Torpedo Captor X (16).
The 8-Ohm premium yet portable reactive load box, IR loader, DynIR cab sim, stereo expander, and tube amp attenuator debuted at the Winter NAMM 2020, capturing the hearts of the guitar community.
“We received many requests from our customers and dealers for a 16 Ohm version of the Torpedo Captor X, and we are delighted to be able to fulfill this from today via our global network of retailers,” Two Notes CEO Guillaume Pille detailed.
Touted as “the compact solution to your amp being too loud,” the Torpedo Captor X takes studio-quality processing to the Torpedo Captor family, including a Stereo Reverb, Twin Tracker, Voicing, and Enhancer. It lets musicians savor the stereo experience while playing at home. Moreover, in a studio or live situation, players can route the outputs separately.
Boasting a tremendous selection of 32 DynIR cabinets and an extensive range of inbuilt effects, the Torpedo Captor X lets players sculpt their tone to realize the sound inside their heads.
The Two Notes Audio Engineering Torpedo Captor X (16) lists for $549. Hear it in action on the demo video below.
