Blackstar Amplification has launched its new Silverline series, a future-forward suite of guitar amplifiers promising boutique valve tone via digital technology.
The sharp-looking new series consists of five digital amps built to deliver boutique feeling and tube sound. It includes the Silverline Deluxe head, the 100-watt 2×12″ Silverline Stereo Deluxe, the 100-watt 1×12 Silverline Deluxe combo, the 50-watt 1×12″ Silverline Special combo, and the 20-watt 1×10″ Silverline Standard combo.
A Silverline 212 speaker cabinet is available to match the series, and similar to the combos, it is packed with Celestion V-Type speakers.
From the portable Silverline Standard up to the Deluxe Stereo, the tone setup is the same. Each features six Blackstar preamp voices (OD 1, OD 2, Crunch, Super Crunch, Clean Bright, and Clean Warm), plus six response settings for reproducing various valve power sections, and a dozen of studio-quality onboard effects.
The new models under the Silverline series are equipped with Blackstar’s SHARC DSP and True Valve Power (TVP) technology, dishing out the “nuanced feel, vibe, and response” of six highly sought-after valve power sections. With that, the amps are capable of modeling the response of 6V6, 6L6, KT66, KT88, EL34, and EL84 valve power sections.
